I had a frightening occurrence at the Princess resort on the far south side of Acapulco, when my friend and I took floats out in the ocean and were having a wonderful time peacefully enjoying the sun and clear Pacific.  We suddenly looked around and saw that we had been swept far, far, far out to sea.  Much too far to shout for help.  We panicked of course and began to pray,  thinking of sharks and how our demise might occur.  Suddenly, like an angel was propelling it, a rogue wave rose up an picked up my friend's float and carried her aallllll the way back to shore.  I knew then that I would be saved since she made it back and she could send help.  But just as suddenly, a second rogue wave rose up and gently propelled me at several miles per hour into shore.  We saw no other such waves that day.  Neither of us is usually a believer in mystical phenomena, but we can both testify to our salvation from the sea on that day.
